My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Superhero powers: super strength, flirt, chatter
Favorite color: blue/green
Favorite food: pizza/garden salad
Myers-Briggs Type: Rocko-ISFJ/Filbert-ENFJ

Rocko's biggest fear is toilet snakes; Filbert's is ceiling spiders.
Rocko thinks pineapple is great on pizza; Filbert thinks pineapple on pizza is a crime.

Teacher Remarks: Rocko and Filbert have shown themselves to be relaxed, happy, and cuddly cats who need some time to feel safe in a new home. Filbert follows Rocko's lead and relies on him to say a place or person are safe. We worked to undo the abuse and neglect they went through with their previous adopter and have not noticed any ongoing concerns stated during their return. I live with my two teenagers, our adult cats, and high energy American bulldog-they are friendly and comfortable with every member of our household.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We provide private in home fostering and do not allow visitors at our homes with an approved application, interview, and confirmed appointment made by the CEO.

We partner with our local, family owned businesses and events, but a majority of our adoptions are done from the comfort of your home.

More about this rescue

We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
