My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing May, a resilient and courageous dog who has overcome great adversity in her life. For several months, May found herself wandering the streets, facing the challenges of survival on her own. During this time, she endured a prolapsed vagina, a painful condition that required urgent medical attention. Though people in the neighborhood attempted to help her, her fear and mistrust kept her at a distance.

Fortunately, fate intervened when one of our compassionate fosters caught sight of May and recognized the urgency of her situation. With a clever plan involving fries as bait, May was coaxed close enough to be safely captured. Immediately, she was taken to the veterinary clinic, where she underwent surgery to repair her injury.

May is now ready for a new chapter in her life, filled with endless love, security, and happiness. If you're searching for a quiet and affectionate canine companion who will steal your heart with a single smile, look no further than May. Come and meet her, and witness the incredible transformation she has undergone. May is waiting with open paws to bring joy and warmth into your life.

If May May sounds like she might be the right match for you, or if you want to check out more of our wonderful pets for adoption, please visit ffpets.org to read all about our TN-based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and to submit your application

More about this rescue

Funny Farm Rescue Ranch is a 501c3 all volunteer rescue in TN. We rescue pets from all types of situations. Then we rehabilitate them and fully vet them and get them ready to go to their forever homes. We also educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter because of our huge pet overpopulation problem and the high number of healthy, adoptable pets having to be euthanized on a daily basis because there simply aren't enough homes. We do it because we love these animals and are devoted to this cause.
