My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see a beautiful and vulnerable dog that needs our help. Jasmine was one of these dogs that deserves, due to her excellent temperament and all the love she'll bring to a family, to have a wonderful home filled with pure love and nurturing.

Jasmine is the kind of dog who, once comfortable in her environment, snuggles in close, loves you up and then puts her head on your shoulder breathing her warm breath. She's so sweet (while being initially a bit shy) and so very loving and irresistible that you can't help falling head over heels in love.

Jasmine's mom, who loved her dearly, passed away leaving this wonderful dog to a relative who thought that the best place for a dog to live was outside. Sweet Jasmine spent winter after winter outside in the elements without a thought from her guardian.

Jasmine was finally relinquished to a rescuer who understood that this unloved girl, in order to thrive, needed a family that truly loved her and would make certain that she was well-fed, warm and living inside in a nurturing environment.

Jasmine is a stunning 8ish year old, 62 lb Golden Retriever / Poodle mix (Goldendoodle) that is nothing but pure love. This girl is SO sweet and once acclimated to her new life, is as kind and engaging as can be.

Jasmine is a perfect size and temperament to accompany her family just about everywhere a sweet dog is welcome. She will fit right into virtually every situation due to her great temperament and love of life. Our dream for this very loving pup is a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes her for life.

As Jasmine becomes comfortable in her forever home, she will blossom and become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more Jasmine will shine with her accomplishments.

Farfel's would like to see our wonderful Doodle in a home that includes her in family time and activities (some couch time with belly rubs would be perfect!) as well as taking that extra step to participate in positive reinforcement / force free virtual or in-person training classes. These classes successfully teach a very smart and cooperative dog like Jasmine the skills to accompany her family out into the world with excellent behavior. Farfel's Rescue is happy to provide a list of approved virtual and in-person force-free trainers in your area.

Jasmine will be a devoted companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a silly, fun-loving and irresistible dog. This social girl would also enjoy having another gentle and fun dog to play with, but it's not mandatory if her people are loving, present and engage in playtime and fun.

This wonderful girl would also do well with a younger family that works from a home-based office. She would bask in the periodic attention and cuddles throughout the day that this life-style brings.

Jasmine appears to be (and her breed mix would speak to it) a non-shedding girl with the curly Poodle hair that works so well for those with allergy concerns. Due to this non-shedding coat, Jasmine will require a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming (approximately every 8 weeks) and great nutrition (5 star food and a daily salmon oil supplement are excellent protocols for longevity and coat care) to keep Jasmine's hair super- healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free.

Jasmine has been fully vetted and is up to date on her vaccinations. These protocols support Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs. We've requested that she be spayed but have our doubts that that will occur. If it doesn't, Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Jasmine's spay and microchip following her transport to Boulder if one of our rescue vets is used.

Jasmine will be arriving on transport in Denver in mid to late March..we'll update the moment the date is confirmed. Applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and very loving best friend and can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-res. cue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Jasmine please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
