This Bane is a bit different from the one on your Batman comic book pages. In fact, this 84lb boy is a bit of a scaredy cat! He LOVES people and will always accept pets but looks to his people for comfort when a very scary thing like a garbage truck or trash rolls by. His new home can help him gain confidence by showing him that new things can be fun and amazing! Bane lived with another dog in the home and got along with them really well. He seemed excited to meet our helper dog at first, but decided the other dog wasn't for him. Bane might be selective about his canine besties. Because of this, we are requiring any potential new homes to bring their pups in to meet him and make sure they can get along. Bane would also prefer a home without young children. Bane lived with a 2-year-old and 4-year-old previously, and they weren't as respectful of his space as he'd like. He'd like a home that understands this and won't accidentally pull on his ears or face (ye-ouch!). Bane would do well in a home that has space for him to run or can get him out for regular walks. Sound like the perfect fit for you? Come meet him!
Bane is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It's a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take Bane home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!
