Stevie came to the ranch in 8/23 from NYC ACC as a stray, emaciated, with a bad case of dermatitis and almost no hair, very long nails, CIRDC (kennel cough) and extremely frightened. The crate was his safe space but after 4 weeks he came out of his shell, was no longer trying to become invisible in his bed or biting from fear of being hurt. He has recovered from the cough and sniffles, we had an allergy test taken and are now figuring out a good long term plan to keep his skin issues controlled.
Steve is approximately 4 years old, most likely a Lhasa Apso and weighs currently 15 lbs. He is a very sweet little boy who loves snuggling. Funny enough he prefers tarmac and gravel over grass which might have to do with his allergies (or simply because he's a city boy). Stevie loves other dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and keeps a safe distance from the bigger farm animals. He's a typical Terrier "defending" the house and farm from intruders through fierce barking, but is more than willing to become friends with everyone new. Stevie is low energy and a perfect cow potato.
