My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application
Please do not call the shelter; do the application first.

Introducing Abby the Chihuahua mix. Abby is 2 years old and weighs 15lbs. She is a little on the round side but that doesn't slow her down. She loves to run and play with her daughter Jade (who is also available for adoption).

Abby comes easily when called and is very social. She gets along with other dogs and cats and loves all people. She has never lived with children, so we believe she would be best suited for older, dog-savvy children. She is housetrained, and is reported to know how to use puppy pads for times when she has to be alone longer than her little bladder can handle.

If you're looking for a small and snuggly girl, Abby fits the bill. She would love a home where she is let out often to potty, can sleep on the couch or bed with her people, and there are ample treats and snuggles available!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Abby is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
