My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxie is a 5 year old (born 5/20/2018) female bichon who came to us as an owner surrender from a former breeding situation. This girl has had a tough start to life, but we will make sure that she knows there is a better end to her beginning. Roxie is adapting to her new life in her foster home while working on housebreaking, crate training and being a family dog. She has never had much grooming or dental care, so we will be working on those details too! Roxie really seems to enjoy the smaller dog companion in her foster home and follows him everywhere for guidance. So, a calmer home with another smaller dog for companionship would be great for this girl! Loud noises and quick movements seem to easily startle Roxie, so only older, dog educated children would be best.
Roxie's adoption fee is $250.00 which will includes her spay and dental at our vets (scheduled for March 11th), vaccines (including DHLPPC, Kennel Cough, Lyme disease, Rabies), heartworm/lyme testing (negative), and Microchipping with lifetime registration.
If you want to meet Roxie with hopes to make her part of your family, be sure to FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html

***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries.

*Note: Ideally, ALL members of the family (canine and human alike) should be present for any meet and greet unless otherwise specified/discussed.

Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. So, be patient with us and check out our Facebook page for more information and photo updates: facebook.com/trhap2014You can visit our website at theroadhomeanimalproject.org
