My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mary is one of those special dogs that enters your life, and you will never forget her. She is approximately two years old, gentle, kind, plays well with everyone she has met, and loves with her whole heart. She enjoys time outside basking in the sun but mostly cherishes being with loved ones. Mary will shower you with kisses and politely ask for belly rubs occasionally. She took the best care of her seven babies and deserves the best for herself now.
She is crate trained, potty trained, sits for a treat, and walks well on leash. She also does great in a vehicle but chooses not to get in one on her own.
She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative.

Our foster dogs/pups are all in foster homes and can be met by appointment. We also will have regular adoption events at PetSmart and Pet Supply Plus stores.

Active Paws rescue will help pets in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach.

Active Paws Rescue would love to see that every animal knows love and kindness. No animal should have to endure needless neglect and suffering. We will provide a voice to those that need it most.

We believe in not only helping the animals but educating our local communities on how to do better.
