My name is Poofy Max!

Max was very underweight when he came into rescue and he was heartworm positive. He has been treated for heartworm but will need to be kept on heartworm prevention religiously moving forward. He enjoys other dogs and absolutely loves every person that he meets. He is completely crate trained. While we always want a home that can meet a dog's exercise requirements, Max doesn't have a high energy level and should be content with most families. Huskies in general can be escape artists and we recommend a secure fence or someone dedicated to leash walking. We don't recommend Max go into a home with an alpha male dog, he does great with females and submissive male dogs!
