Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In the bustling world of shelter life, there's a serene soul named Heather, a seven-month-old feline with an old soul and a heart full of love. While others her age might be bounding about, Heather prefers the quiet comfort of a warm lap and the gentle touch of a caring hand. Despite her young age, Heather seems to carry the wisdom of generations past, making her a truly special companion.
Unlike some cats who crave independence, Heather thrives on human connection. There's nothing she loves more than snuggling up in a cozy lap or nuzzling close to her favorite person.
While she's perfectly polite with her feline roommates, Heather's true affection lies with her human friends. She may be completely indifferent to other cats, but when it comes to people, she's all in.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
