Hi there! My name is Apple and I am a 1-year-old female cat. My foster mom says I love to give her attention but it needs to be on my terms. I will come to lay down next to you and I will seek you out in the house and want to be near you, but petting me will need to be on my terms. I am sweet and loving but can also immediately feel like I need space and will let you know with a gentle hiss. I have already had babies so my foster mom says I may need time for my hormones to mellow out but I am a loving girl. When I want scratches/pets on the head I will come over and rub or bump your hand. I communicate really well and just need someone who can understand and listen to me. I will not do well in a house with kids. I can tolerate a dog as long as they don’t encroach on my space. I would do well with someone who works outside the home as I enjoy my alone time as well. I'm just looking for a family who can appreciate that I give love on my own terms, but when I do it’s so rewarding!
