My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Every once in a while, and not very often, a dog comes through our rescue that can only be described as PERFECT! Does such a creature really exist , you ask? The answer is YES INDEED! And her name is SNOWFLAKE❄️ I could go in and on for days about this girl but thought maybe the worlds would be best coming from her foster mom...
Hi y’all, this is Snowflake’s foster mom and I want to tell you about this extraordinary dog. I know a little about extraordinary because although I, myself, am not that extraordinary, I am an immigration paralegal who specializes in extraordinary visas for people who are at the top of their fields.
To be approved for one of these visas, they either have to meet 3 of 8 criteria or win one major award.
Y’all, Snowflake would have that visa in a heartbeat! Her major award is that the rural shelter in which she was housed for several months recognized her as THE BEST DOG THERE and would use her to temperament test the other dogs. Above and beyond all the other dogs, they focused on her and advocated for her. When shelter people recognize a dog like that, you should LISTEN! Thankfully, Blues City did—again.
Snowflake is flawlessly house-trained, exceptionally friendly, and desperate to be every dog’s bestie. She is that typical pittie combo of Let’s Play Hard Unless You Prefer To Snuggle. She isn’t the biggest fan of the crate, but she will be perfectly still and quiet as long as she needs to be there.
She takes correction very well and rarely makes the same mistake twice. But she’s young and still likes to chew, so she needs some guidance to choose between rug and bone.
Snowflake is about 14-16 months old and full-grown at 50lbs.
Despite being adorable, she is also HW- and spayed.
You can rest assured 1000% that she is perfectly behaved ( even beyond that she's much more tolerant than just about any 4 legged being we've ever had) with anyone and anything !
Her foster mom Lori is spoiling her in Memphis, Tn and we are being very patient because we know the perfect family is out there for this PERFECT! BEAUTIFUL! Creature 💜

Additional adoption info

The adoption process starts with the adoption application. Once the approval process is complete, you will be notified via phone or email of your approval. Our rescue is based in Tennessee. Some of our adoptable pets will require transport to other locations so please inquire before applying for adoption. WE HAVE LOCAL PETS IN WINDSOR but not all of our pets are locally fostered

More about this rescue

We are a rescue based out of Memphis, Tennessee with fosters and chapters in various parts of the United States. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home as many homeless pets in the mid-south as we possibly can to save them from euthanasia. Their only fault...there are just too many. The euthanasia rate in this city is a staggering 79%. We watch perfectly healthy, well-adjusted pets be euthanized daily because there simply are not enough homes for them all. The solution...stronger spay/neuter laws and education but until then, these pets deserve a future too!
