Meow, I'm Balki, a 4-1/2-year-old beautiful black cat in need of a forever home. I was rescued from a shelter, but I wasn't always a rescue cat. My journey began in a magical garden where I was born under a blooming forget-me-not. My curiosity led me to a shimmering portal hidden behind a waterfall. I, being the adventurous soul, stepped through. I landed first at the shelter (scary), and then into a foster home, a place filled with love and care. I am sweet, friendly, and gentle. My smart mind loves to explore, but I also have a mellow side. I can be a bit shy, but I am independent. I'm seeking a forever home where my magical journey can continue. We are a registered 501c3 animal rescue organization in the State of California. We adopt out dogs in Southern California and in the Pacific Northwest, and in some cases we work with rescue partners in specific locations, to help facilitate adoptions.
