My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! This is Winston, a 5 1/2 year old purebred Pembroke Corgi. He was born in Hesperia, CA at Royal Hearts Corgis, a breeder in that area. He has been a fantastic dog for our family. He lives for fetch and also enjoys walks and playing around/wrestling.

He does not have any issues with possessiveness or aggression with other dogs or his food. He is an excellent "guard dog", barking at anyone that approaches our front door, but is otherwise incredibly friendly and has no history of bites.

The reason we are rehoming him is to protect our two young children from him being underfoot and desiring their food. He does get possessive of food that is at his level or gets dropped, which is our concern for our kids. Also, because of his love for playing fetch, he doesn't always see our kids and we want to avoid an accidental collision.

Winston would be the perfect addition to any home that has older school-age children, teens, or only adults. He has been a treasure in our lives
