My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny, a breathtaking grey cat with eyes that sparkle! Though she may be a bit shy, Penny is eagerly searching for a patient adopter who can provide the time and understanding she needs to blossom. Ideally, a home where someone is often present would be perfect for Penny, allowing her to feel secure and loved. She can be adopted as a solo cat since we believe Penny's true potential shines in a calm environment where she can receive the one-on-one attention she deserves. Give this beautiful girl a chance, and watch her bloom into the loving companion she's meant to be.

Penny is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and healthy (fiv and felv negative)

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
