Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bandit came to WARL initially after his heartbroken owner needed to move unexpectedly. Bandit was very close with his first owner and it was hard on both of them, but she knew it was best for him. Bandit can be shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long before he is jumping up to hug you and offering you his paw. Bandit is very smart boy who knows all of his basic commands.
He would need to be the only dog in the home, and is not up to dog park kind of play. Bandit does not want to be around children at all - he does not have any patience for them. Bandit was returned to the shelter for not doing well with kids after his initial adoption. After getting exercise he enjoys lounging on the couch in front of the TV. Bandit has been taught to ring a bell that hangs on the door when he needs to go to the bathroom. True to a lab, Bandit enjoys visiting lakes and beaches.
If you are interested in adopting Bandit, please head to our website worcesterarl.org and click on Bandit's photo. Please complete the Dog Adoption Inquiry Form to request a meet with him. That is the first step! All adoptions are by appointment, thank you!
