The litter of 4, Romeo, Thor, Archie and Marbles were rescued on September 30 2023 from a warehouse that produces the black glue for the street asphalt. The warehouse was across from one of their rescuer’s feeding spots. It was a gated property which did not allow trespassing. The gate only opened when trucks are coming in and out; the cats would get out from under the gate to the other side of the street for food. One night, the feeder got to meet one of the employees. She shared what she does and the employee told her terrible things that are happening beyond the gates and how kittens would end in there. She asked the employee to please call her if they find kittens, and gave him her number. After sometimes, they were fork-lifting some cardboard bins, they found a litter of kittens and the momma cat was running away. So, the employee contacted and let her in to take the babies and trap the momma cat. She got the mama cat fixed and fostering the rest of the babies.
Romeo is a sweet boy. He likes to play with his brother Thor a lot. They can be shy at first, but once they get to know you, they are pieces of a pie. They love rubbing against the foster’s chin, buddy scratch, and petting time. They can be playful and curious at times, but that’s something all kittens do. We hope to find them a home where they get all the attentions they long for.
