Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our sweet feline girl named Kitty! Kitty came to us after her owner unfortunately became homeless. We are told she is about 8 years old. Kitty is a very friendly girl who enjoys attention. She is affectionate and will walk right up to you to be pet. She likes to be brushed and she is a catnip addict! Kitty would love to have a forever family to call her own! Kitty is good with other cats, she lived with 2 males in her previous home. She has also been used to temperament test dogs here and she holds her ground, but she is not aggressive towards them. We think she would be fine in a home with a dog who gives her some space at first. Kitty can go to a home with children 10 years old and older.
If you are interested in meeting Kitty, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! Her adoption fee is $75.00.
MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet cats can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER!
You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
