My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

?Meet Spatula?
Spatula was brought in by Animal Control as a semi-feral tiny kitten. His first day with us was definitely a scary one for him and we found ourselves unable to complete his intake exam. Not wanting to add to his stress, we decided to give him some time, which worked! After a good night sleep, a belly full of food and extra love from his caregivers, he quickly decompressed, allowing us to complete his medical exam.
Sadly, his test results were not what we hoped for as he tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus which is incurable. Although his life expectancy is 2 to 3 years, FeLV+ cats have been known to flourish in the right environment often showing little to no symptoms for the vast majority of their lives. This has not brought him down and his zest for life is contagious and vibrant, he is after all a kitten who loves to do kitten things. FeLV+ cats can live with other FeLV+ cats with no risk to either's health.
