Duke is a handsome, shy guy that’s about 2 years old. He is a pittie/basset hound mix with the cutest 3/4 length legs you’ve ever seen. He’s a solid 68 lbs. Duke loves other dog friends, doesn’t chase cats, LOVES his crate, and enjoys a calm, quiet home without a lot of new people in and out. Duke first joined MHCR as a pup and spent almost two years with his prior family before they decided their home was just too busy with kiddos in and out and for him. He likes having a safe place to retreat to when visitors come over and his forever family should be patient with him in these situations. Once he’s comfortable, Duke loves to snuggle and spend time with his humans. He requests a home with children age 15+ or an adult only home.
Duke is in foster in Bennett, Colorado.
*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *
