My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

River is a playful perimeter cat that will occasionally seek attention. Although she likes to sleep the day away (I mean, what cat doesn't), she LOVES chasing a laser and can be convinced to chase a string, ball, or crumpled up receipt around. She will need your patience as she gets accustomed to her surroundings, but if you can gain her trust, she will nag you for pets and even let you pick her up and shower her with attention in your lap.

She does not appreciate other animals, and she is skittish around children (likely because they move fast and are unpredictable). Patience is key as she will hiss and scratch if frightened.

With time, she will warm up to any individual that can provide a safe space and slowly take the time to love on her.
