We adopted Alpine in beginning of October 2023, when he was 4 1/2 months old. We had the intention of training him to be a service dog for our child who is autistic, however, as time has gone on, we have realized that we do not have the time to be able to engage consistently in the training process. Alpine is a sweet sweet boy and we love him dearly. We have been working with a private trainer as well as with a local organization doing training with him so at this point he has most of the basics. He is a typical puppy in that he can be destructive, but that is something that all puppies grow out of. He is really sweet and loving. He is great with other dogs, children and strangers. He loves going to the off leash dog area and running in our yard. He’s a good eater, and he is a very pretty boy. It breaks our hearts to have to offer him up for rehoming. We require the individual or individuals who adopt him to work from home full-time and you have a yard. Home visit required.
