My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! My name is Link. I bet you are looking at my picture and wondering why a handsome boy like me is sitting here homeless! Well I was wondering the same thing! I was picked up by Animal Control on a street near the interstate where there were lots of vacant lots and empty houses. I don't know if my owners moved away and left me, or if I just got lost. But no matter now! I am in the market for a brand new home. I am a terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am what they call a "teenage" puppy! So be ready to get me lots of exercise and plenty of love! If you can't adopt me, maybe you could help the shelter by fostering me and maybe even becoming my Adoption Ambassador! Ask for details!!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
