My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Esteban, a handsome male black Pit Bull Terrier with a heart as big as his smile. At an estimated 3 years old, Esteban has been patiently awaiting his forever home since January 2, 2024. Despite his time at the shelter, his spirit remains bright, and his love for companionship shines through.

Esteban is a social butterfly, delighting in the company of both humans and other dogs. He's known for his friendly demeanor and playful nature, making him the perfect candidate for a household with furry playmates. Esteban's gentle disposition and knack for making friends make him a beloved member of the shelter community.

If you're looking for a loyal and sociable companion who's ready to join your pack, look no further than Esteban. With his warm heart and love for playtime, he's sure to bring endless joy and laughter to your home. Consider giving Esteban the loving family he's been dreaming of, complete with a canine play buddy to share in his adventures.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

*The shelter is currently open for adoptions by appointment only. Please email us at adoptycas@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting.
For other shelter services, please call us at (530) 668-5287*

To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).

If you have any other questions, please go to www.yolocountysheriff.com or call the shelter for more information.
