My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Georgie, a charming male Boxer with a handsome brown and white coat that perfectly complements his friendly personality. While his age remains a mystery, Georgie has been a cherished resident at the shelter since January 12, 2024, eagerly awaiting his forever home.

Georgie is a master of the puppy dog eyes, effortlessly melting hearts wherever he goes. His playful nature and love for the outdoors make him the perfect companion for fun-filled days in the sun. Whether he's chasing after a ball or lounging in the grass, Georgie's zest for life is infectious.

Despite his time at the shelter, Georgie's spirits remain high, and his affectionate demeanor endears him to everyone he meets. If you're searching for a loyal and playful companion to join you on your adventures, look no further than Georgie. With his irresistible charm and boundless energy, he's sure to bring joy and laughter to your life every day.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

*The shelter is currently open for adoptions by appointment only. Please email us at adoptycas@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting.
For other shelter services, please call us at (530) 668-5287*

To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).

If you have any other questions, please go to www.yolocountysheriff.com or call the shelter for more information.
