My story

Meet Sima! Sima is an 9 year old kitty who prefers petting to playing. She has lived with other animals but would prefer to be her own animal. Sima has been pretty vocal here at the shelter greeting us when we clean her kennel. She is fairly independent and can be shy to newcomers but warmed up fast here with staff.

Our fee's vary dependent on the animal from $20.40 up to about $280.00 for adoption. All animals are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to leaving the shelter. An owner can pick up the animal at the veterinarians office. We require permission from property managers prior to an adoption if you are renting.

We are a local shelter that is available to the community. Our hours to the public are Tuesday-Friday from 11am-5:30pm, and Saturday from 11am-5pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays. We are located at 510 N. Willow Street, just near the Kenai Airport.
