My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Three year old Luther is the absolute goodest boy! Despite being a stray, he is house trained and mostly crate trained. He does get a little whiny at first but only lasts a minute or two. He knows sit and lay down. He is working on paw and Up and is food motivated (but is the most gentle when taking a treat) so he's a quick learner. He loves to play with plush toys and destroy them from time to time Anytime you sit down on the couch he is ready to be the BEST snuggle buddy. He has the softest fur and loves all of the pets. When he goes outside he cannot get enough of the grass. He loves rolling and sliding around. If you like your dog to be your adventure buddy, Luther does great in the car, he will look around for a minute and then just curls up for a nice nap. He does pretty good on a leash but could benefit from a front clasp harness.

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
