My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sierra is a 3 year old Rottie/Doberman mix. She was found wandering a neighborhood in Albuquerque and a Good Samaritan managed to capture her. She was taken to the Abq Eastside Shelter, where they discovered she was microchipped but when her owners were contacted, they stated they no longer wanted the dog. The Founder didn't want to leave her at the shelter, so she adopted Sierra and has been caring for her but as this family already has 6 pets. Sierra has to be moved by the 1st of April so the need for a foster home is urgent.

Sierra was quite shy and timid at first but is more trusting now that she has adjusted to her situation. She is a gentle, sweet and affectionate dog and likes to play with the resident dogs. She is house trained, likes children and riding in the car.

Please go to http://www.dobermanrescuenm.org and complete an application. This pretty girl deserves a forever family.

A $300 adoption fee applies.
