My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maxwell is approx. 1 1/2 years old. Male. Red and white color, DSH Manx. Neutered. Up to date on shots and microchipped.

As the weather had started to get cold this winter I saw something running from my garage at night coming home at night from work. So like your typical cat lover. I started to set food and water out for whatever was running from my garage. And then leaving a gap in my garage door. Weeks later, I had to get some work on my garage door and wiring, so that meant that I had move some things in my garage. As I am cleaning i hear this meow from the very top of some boxes. It's Maxwell. I called here kitty. He came to greet me and starting rubbing on my leg and purring. He immediately let me pet him. I ran and got my roommate, Maxwell immediately started rubbing up against him as well an purring. He was rubbing on him as well. Maxwell is beyond friendly. The next day I had him to see if he was microchipped. Of course he was not chipped. I posted everywhere. No reply from anyone what so ever. He had a lot of facial scratches from surviving outside. But, He was likely dumped.

The rescue got him all his shots and verified, that indeed he was already neutered.

He is acclimated to his new living quarters. Maxwell does great with the 3 dogs, ranging in sizes of small, medium and large. Maxwell gets along with all the resident cats.
Maxwell weighs a whopping 16 lbs. But don't let that chubbiness fool you. He is very agile for being such a big boy.

Maxwell loves cuddling, rubs and loves to giving kisses. Maxwell LOVES his scratchers, so he is going to need many.
Maxwell uses the litter box well. His favorite litter box is the one with hole on the top.
Maxwell loves his dry food. He is eating nacho mixed along with premium cat foods. It is very hard to find a wet food that he will eat. Luckily he drinks a lot of water.

Maxwell would be a great addition to your family. Maybe not a cat that can be just carried around, reminder he is 16 lbs.
