Here's what the humans have to say about me:
James was found emaciated and wandering in Garner in December 2023. He was already house trained and knew "sit". Once he was fed and received vet care, his true rambunctious and goofy self became apparent. James' foster parents are working to train him to come when called, stay/wait for his food, leaving the cat alone when she doesn't (ever) want to play. James barks when he's excited, but not frequently. He is easily distracted with treats and chew toys. He is crate trained. If he is sufficiently entertained or worn out from playing with other dogs, he does not chew "undesirable" items in the house. He does very well with playing at the dog park with others. He has never shown signs of aggression, even when other dogs have towards him. Due to his love of playing, he will do best in a home with another dog who can match his energy. He is a big cuddler and loves to put his full weight into you.
