My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Esalda. I am about 12 weeks old. They say I am a boxer/terrier mix. Let me tell you all about myself. I am a gorgeous puppy that came up with my 7 brothers and sisters. I currently live with my sister Marisol. I also have a foster mom, dad, 11 year old sister, 2 furr foster brothers and a furr foster sister. I am working hard on potty training but I just don't have it down yet. I am really good in the crate though. After me and my sister play hard all day, I am pretty tired. My foster dad picks me up and puts me right in. I cuddle up with my sister and fall fast asleep. I don't make any noise until my foster mom wakes up. Then I am super excited, I can't help but make cute noises. She takes me outside right away so I don't have an accident in the house. Thank goodness because holding my pee all night is hard. But I don't want to sleep in my mess so I hold it. I love to just cuddle on my foster moms lap in the morning. I really love to play with everyone. There isn't a dog I have met that I don't want to play with. Don't I sound like the perfect addition to your family? I can't wait to meet you.

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
