My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: September 2023

Meet Furry Friends Network’s rolling stones duo: Slate and Lime!

These twin gray boys had a difficult start to life. They needed quite a bit of care and had some intestinal issues but our fosters worked hard to help them turn the corner. They are now ready to find their furever homes!

Some might call Lime the “runt” of the litter. He initially struggled to keep up developmentally and has been under observation of our local vet partners. He is now catching up and his stool is normal, although sometimes he vocalizes when he’s in the litter box. He certainly does not appear to suffer from any energy deficiencies, though! Lime can keep up with his brother and that is certainly saying something! He loves to play and enjoys canned food treats. He can sometimes be on the shyer side, just a bit more cautious than his brother, so he would likely do best in a home without young children. Lime would love to be adopted with his brother or join another cat in your home.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
