My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Luna and I'm looking for a new best friend!

I was brought to the shelter by my owners who could no longer care for me. Now I'm here looking for a family who will love me for the rest of my life!

I'm around 3 years old, and am super sweet and very loving.

Unfortunately, I recently started experiencing seizures which is very common in my breed. Since starting medication I've been doing very well, but this is something that I will likely need to be on medication for throughout the rest of my life.

Because of my seizures I am currently living in a foster home and am doing great! I'm good with other dogs, and am also good around cats.....although my foster mom says I like to chase them. But I don't mean them any harm!

I'm up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and I also have a microchip. All I need now is someone like YOU to love me forever!

More about this shelter

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a voice for those that cannot speak. Join us in speaking for those that need us most . . . the animals.
