Shadow is a sweet, loving boy who loves to be pet. He is fairly low key and likes to just lounge around with his family.
Shadow is good with other dogs and likes to snuggle with the resident dog in his home. He hasn’t been around cats so that is an unknown. Given his laid back nature, he is good with the kids in his home and especially enjoys the company of kids that are just a little older, 8 and up.
He is housetrained and knows some basic cues like sit, down and stay. He sleeps on a dog bed in someone’s room at night and sleeps through the night. He does well in a kennel as needed. Shadow would love to have a fenced yard as he is used to going potty and he doesn’t really potty on walks.
Unfortunately the youngest child in his home has severe allergies to Shadow and despite working with doctors and allergists, the child’s health has gotten worse. The family is very sad to have to rehome Shadow but have no choice.
If you are looking for a furry partner to wind down with and keep you company Shadow is your guy. He is a homebody through and through.
Shadow is almost 5 years old and weighs 30 lbs.Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
