My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our endearing friend who may take a moment to emerge from his shell. With a touch of patience, he’ll soon seek affection and happily accept treats from strangers. Despite his initial shyness, he’s quite amenable to being held and carried, trusting in the goodness of those around him.
He’s a sensitive soul, finding the exuberance of children a bit overwhelming. It’s the quieter moments he cherishes, where he can relax and show his true, loving nature.

This friendly fellow is a social butterfly with a tail, eager to greet and play with dogs of all sizes and ages. He’s a brave soul, standing his ground to protect himself and his loved ones if another dog shows aggression.

While he hasn’t had the chance to meet cats, he’s shown a playful interest in birds. He’s the perfect mix of energy and tranquility, loving his outdoor escapades while being a picture of calm indoors. Quiet areas are his preferred walking spots, as loud noises can startle him.

Resource guarding isn’t an issue with people, but he may give a warning growl to other dogs if they invade his space. Strangers might be greeted with a bark, but he settles down once he understands there’s no threat. He’s crate-trained and does well in his personal space.
Car rides are still new to him, so he’ll need a helping hand getting in and out of the vehicle. He’s house-trained for outdoor potty breaks, but patience is key as he adjusts to a new routine. Accidents may happen, but they’ll lessen over time.

Having grown up in a shelter, he’s both excited and cautious about new experiences. He’s looking for a guiding hand to help build his confidence and share in his discoveries.
If you’re ready to embark on a journey of friendship and discovery with this charming canine, reach out to our team. He’s waiting for someone just like you to show him the wonders of the world.

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
