My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Garfield is a love bug who absolutely loves to play with his sister, Ramen. If he is given some time and patience to come out of his shell, he would be the perfect companion for someone who likes the comfort of staying home. Garfield is very food motivated! He's also neutered, dewormed, received flea meds, and is up to date with his vaccines. Garfield is great with other cats and dogs as long as they are properly introduced.

Garfield and Ramen are being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet these cats or find out more, please fill out an application at www.thedancingcat.org/adopt

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
