My name is Della!

Della aka 'Dee' aka 'Mortadella' aka 'Mortdella Soppressata' is the most precious girl! When she first came to A Friend of Jack she was shaking, anxious, timid, circling the house, couldn't sit still, scared to be pet--clearly had never lived in a house and of course not potty-trained at 4 months.  8 weeks later, she is still a LITTLE timid when new dogs and humans swing over, but warms up and plays HARD within minutes, friendly with all dogs, kids and humans, fully potty trained, obsessed with the yard, bed, dogs and LIVES for bones, food, tennis/squeaky balls, belly rubs, car rides and her perch on the couch!!  

As food-motivated as she is, she doesn't really jump or beg much.  She would do best in a house with a yard and another sibling to play with, but could adjust to an apartment if she had active humans. She walks so easily and very confidently thanks to her foster bro on a leash.  

Della is mostly Shepherd (appx 46%).  Her DNA test told us she is the sweetest mix of mainly Sheperd, then appx 1/4 Pittie and 1/4 Pyrenees - aka sweet perfection.  Della will be hard to let go of as she is growing up, learning the ropes so fast, and an absolute sweetheart.  She molds in so well and will to a family of dogs and/or children.  Her foster’s favorite part of the day is when she tires out and tends to her couch perch above her head like a cat.
