More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 volunteer group of animal lovers and advocates. The efforts of Paws On The Ground started with an advocacy group to reduce puppy mill commerce which grew into a foster based rescue to help animals from high kill shelters as with taking in the unwanted, displaced and abandoned.
We help facilitate transport, vetting, and the adoption of our rescued canines into their adoptive homes. When an animal comes into rescue there are a team of volunteers working together to bring an animal into safety and eventually a better life.
We assist communities with overpopulation issues by awarding scholarships for spaying & neutering to prevent more unwanted litters to the individuals who need help and are surrendering animals to rescue. We help animals locally, from surrounding states and also over seas.
The animals are the clients and the center of Paws On The Ground..
