My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mona Lisa is a people loving girl that needs to be the only animal. She is fully vetted, HW- and on
preventative. House and crate trained, walks well on leash. She loves to play with toys and jump in bed to snuggle. Knows sit and takes treats from your hand or catches them.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

When you find one of our dogs which may be a fit for your home, we discuss your living situation and the dog you are interested in adoption. If we feel it is a good fit, we will have you complete an application and submit it. We do references checks, home checks and if the application is approved the adopter signs a contract and pays the $160.00 adoption fee. For dogs being placed as service dogs, this fee is waived. If for any reason, an adoption fails, we ask the adopter to contact us so that we can take possession of the animal. Refunding of adoption fees is at the discretion of Dawgs Without Borders.

All the dogs are in private foster homes and can be seen by appointment.

More about this rescue

A small group of individuals working to save dogs from euthanasia in shelters due to over population and failure of owners to spay/neuter their dogs. We pull the dogs from the shelters/holding facilities, have them vetted (including spay/neuter, all shots, microchip, HW testing and treatment if needed) and then find loving homes for them.
