My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Coon Rapids, MN

Hello world!
My name is Pearl or as my foster mom likes to call me Lil P! I do know my name and come to it when called. I arrived to the Rescue Network with my mom and siblings. My mom is a wiener dog mix and dad is wellll who really knows but dang am I cute! I am two months old and working really hard on potty training and leash training. My foster mom says I'm close and knows I can master it like a champ soon! I sleep well in my kennel for the most part. I whine a little at first because honestly I just want to be with my humans. I eventually quiet down and fall asleep. Right now I am going out to potty once in the middle of the night. Once fully potty trained I would LOVE to sleep by my humans for sure. I truly enjoy human affection and cuddles. My favorite is wrapping up in a warm blanket and taking a nap on my foster mom's lap. I play well by myself but also enjoy playing with the larger resident dog in my foster home. I think I would be okay as an only dog but would really appreciate having another dog to play and be friends with. I don't really bark at anything and do well with loud noises. My foster mom says I redirect really well when she catches me doing something naughty like chewing her trim boards.. ops! I haven't had the opportunity to meet children or cats yet but have been excited to meet all the new adult humans that I have so far. I love to run around the yard and chase after balls. The exercise also helps me get out all my puppy zoomies!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.
