Edwina and Isabelle are ready to be adopted! Their foster mom did a fantastic job giving them all the time they needed to come out of their shells, and now they need a forever home!
Here’s a note from their foster mom:
“Edwina and Isabelle have made such great progress! Poor things were so scared in the shelter, they would just freeze and hunker down in a corner. For the first two weeks after I brought them home, they would hide whenever I came in the room – but they were also very purry when I reached in and got my hands on them for skritches. It took a few weeks, lots of Churu treats, but eventually they became more and more comfortable coming out of their hiding spots (Ed first, she’s definitely the braver one, but she sets a good example for Izzy). They’re still a bit skittish with loud noises and sudden movements, but they’re out and about the whole time now, no dashing to their hiding spot. Ed curls up right beside me, I can see her becoming a lap cat. Izzy is more lap-adjacent, but close enough for lotsa pets. They’ll definitely climb all over each other to get the most skritches, and they love to play-fight and groom-fight with each other too. They have lots of kitten energy to burn off, they love chasing each other around the room; their next favourite activity is shredding cardboard boxes. I think they will need an adopter with plenty of patience (I’d be expecting them to revert back to hiding in their new home until they get comfortable), no children and a fairly quiet environment, but once they get used to you, you’re going to have the sweetest, softest lil’ cuties beside you!”
