My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

There is an adorable video of me on ACC's Instagram: Click here to experience the cuteness!

A volunteer writes: Stripes is a solutions based thinker who appreciates a good puzzle. She's been working through a few questions that have got us all stumped. Stripes can't figure out why she's still here since coming to us in early March and quite frankly, neither can we. I usually see her loafing right at the front of her condo watching Adoptions. Whenever I visit with Stripes, she'll entertain my company for a moment before going back to her den. It took me a few visits to understand that Stripes wants friends, just on her own terms. She wants to play and, of course, has figured out a way to play that's right for her. Waving her adorable stripey paws out of her den to catch her toy, Stripes joyfully participates and plays like the fun little kitty she is! She may not be looking for pets, but she's certainly found her way to be included in the busy Care Center. All she needs now is forever family.
