Meet Gunther, the charming 6-month-old Shepherd puppy whose friendly and adventurous spirit makes him the perfect family addition. Gunther has a golden heart and a playful personality that shines through in everything he does. He's fantastic with children, gentle with cats, and sociable with other dogs, embodying the true spirit of a companion animal.

Gunther's love for adventure means he's always up for a journey, whether it's a trip to the park or a family vacation. He rides well in the car, making him the ideal travel buddy for all your escapades. At home, Gunther is making excellent progress with his potty training and has adapted well to spending peaceful time in his crate. His leash skills are improving daily, as he's quickly becoming a pro at walking calmly by your side.

With his boundless affection and readiness to bond, Gunther will not only be your loyal pet but also a treasured friend to everyone he meets. Whether romping playfully in the yard or snuggling up with the kids, Gunther is ready to create countless joyful memories with his forever family.


Gunther is about 5 months old and 32 lbs. He is a typical cute playful puppy. 

Prior to adoption, I will be spayed, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped.

Adoption Fee: $600 +taxes/fees

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. We are located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals.

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a 'best guess.' We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a 'full grown size' of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
