My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Salem and her babies were found in the woods in Texas - half of her litter had been eaten by coyotes.

Salem currently has a tick disease called Anaplasmosis. After this is treated, we will spay her. She is up to date on vaccines and dewormed, and elsewise healthy happy girl.

Salem is a very sweet girl. She does well with other dogs, very playful and well behaved. The previous trial home says she is a perfect girl except she chases cats. Her foster in Texas said she got along with cats there.

Additional adoption info

We are not open to the public; all of our animals are viewed on our Facebook profile.

Animals will be matched to homes based off the needs of the animal and capabilities of the home.

We do not require current animals to be altered; we do not require fencing; we understand every home has a different dynamic and preferences.

More about this rescue

Our mission at Zesty Misfits Fostering is to provide a safe and loving environment for animals in need, with a primary focus on behavioral rehabilitation. We are committed to rescuing dogs, pregnant cats, bottle baby kittens, and other animals who are in need of our help that we have the resources for. Through our intake, vetting, rehabilitation, and rehoming processes, we strive to give every animal a second chance at a happy and healthy life. We believe that the home environment is what makes a dog into who they are, and we are dedicated to making sure everyone goes into a home who suits their needs.
