My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ember is a sweet, one-year old Brittany/English pointer mix.  She was severely emaciated when we got her but she has gained weight and is so appreciative of the great care she is getting in her foster home.

Ember is a real love bug and will find the smallest space on your lap or in your chair that allows her to cuddle with you (she thinks she is a lap dog).  Ember absolutely loves people and other dogs and would do also do well with older kids in the home.  She is house-trained and crate-trained.

Ember needs to be with an adopter who has the time to give her the love and attention she craves and needs.  Ember also needs an active household that will give her the daily exercise she requires.  Ember’s new home should have a yard (secured by a physical 6-ft fence) for her to romp in.  She would love to have a running buddy and another dog to play with in her new home.

Ember is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $325.00 which helps to offset our vetting and allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.

If you are interested in making Ember a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  Once the application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Ember is eligible to be transported through our canine railroad up to 1400 miles from Salt Lake City with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.
