My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boe, he is a lovable pooch eagerly awaiting his forever home. Standing tall with a majestic stature, Boe is an XL dog whose love for his people knows no bounds. This magnificent boy is a blend of strength and affection, a furry friend that can’t wait for his next pat on the head.

Despite his imposing size, Boe is a big softie, always eager to meet a new friend and quick to offer a comforting paw to those in need. Whether it`s a rough day at work or a moment of sadness, Boe is there to provide unwavering support.

Boe wants everyone to know his XL packaging is to contain his big heart and even bigger personality.

He is house trained and does well in a large pen during the work hours. He does best on a gentle leader for walks. If he sees another potential friend, he will try to go say hello, so keeping control of him is much easier on a leader. He is okay with other dogs but can play a little too rough if he doesn’t have someone to remind him to calm down occasionally. He has a lot of energy and will need a large yard with a TALL fence. He does want to chase cats, so we also recommend he does not go to a home with cats.

Boe needs a family that is willing and able to teach him how to be the best boy. He is learning commands but still wants to jump and play; he has maintained a lot of puppy tendencies. If unchecked, he will nip for more play time or jump for attention. He does calm down but needs coaching.

If you’re up to the task of giving Boe some lessons and time to learn, he will be your most loyal companion for life.
