My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Babette is doing so much better now that she is out of the DAS shelter. It took her a few days to adjust to her new surroundings. She has since then come around to be such a well behaved dog. She gets along great with my 12 lb Havanese and looks up to her and has imitated her and learned our routines by following her around. Babbete is very gentle and very quiet, spending most of her time on one of her dog beds, always near me throughout the day. Babette is potty trained and has never had any accidents. She looks forward to eating and gets very excited when it is Dinner Time. She sleeps quietly through the night and spends most of the day being comfortable. Although she loves being outside, resting in the shade, She is not ready for walks and does not like being put on a lead. She enjoys treats and loves to play. Her favorite toy currently is an old shoe string that she loves to throw about. She often gets `Happy Feet` and leaps about the place. Although she enjoys being petted she would rather just be nearby. She is very well behaved and stays off of the furniture and comes quickly when I whistle for her. She is very dog friendly and would make an ideal pet for an older couple who would enjoy a relaxed and quiet pet. She seems more comfortable and more brave each day. I have loved having her around and have enjoyed watching her adjust to our home.
