I'm a four month old male Chihuahua mix and I may be small in size at only seven pounds but my charming and affectionate personality is larger than life. 🥰
I'm learning that being around other dogs is pretty cool. Slow intros are probably more my thing, just to give me time to warm up and come out of my shell. I've been hanging around a cat and at first, I was all about the chase but now that we're used to one another, it's no big deal and I mostly ignore her. 😂 I'm also good with kids and learning to be more playful around them. Got a rope toy cause that's one of my favourite things to play with.
I haven't had lots of opportunities to walk on leash yet but when I do, I get super excited. Left, right, straight or backwards....there are smells everywhere! How do I choose the right one to sniff? 🤔
I'm pretty used to my crate and don't mind it all that much. I usually start with a little whine when I first go in but before you know it, I'm fast asleep. 😴 I can put myself to bed when I want and even though I don't get fed in the crate, I have a little habit of taking mouthfuls of food from my dish into the crate. For some reason, it tastes so much better this way and I'm also getting my steps in. 😉
Potty training is a work in progress. I'm trying hard to let my humans know when I need out. My foster family is great with letting me outside regularly and with more practice, I'll know I'll get the hang of it! 🎯
Quirky habits = cute habits and that's definitely the case with me. I like to sleep upside down, easy access to the belly so rub away! 😁 One of my favourite things is to sit on your lap and paw your face, gently of course. ☺️ I'm not a fan of potatoes and the cold doesn't suit me all that much but extra cuddles in your arms makes it all better. 🥰
