My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sidney NE area

Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier/ mystery fusion

Birthday 03/23/2022

Dog friendly

Cat friendliness unknown, she was good with cats but she hasn’t been around one in her current foster home so a little hard to say for sure

Kid friendly, as long as the children have DOG MANNERS

House trained

Needs a SLOW FEEDER BOWL

She will crate with no issues. She needs work on house manners but she’s a quick learner and super eager to please.

Does decent on a leash, she is strong and does pull sometimes so some work on that will be needed

Loves to cuddle, has no idea of personal space

Sunbathing is a favorite past time

Loves a routine

Fully vetted

70lbs approx

Austyn has grown up in rescue she is very loved by us and by her foster family BUT she is so deserving of her FURever home. She has had little to no interest since birth. We have no idea why she’s had such little interest, we thought she would be one of the first to be adopted. Unfortunately she is still waiting, we would REALLY love for her to find her people.

Not only is Austyn the cutest chocolate gumdrop, she has such a charismatic personality. She is right behind her sister when  greeting ppl and welcoming them to the home. She is on the more independent side. She is more of an act now and think later type of girl.  She really needs her people or a foster home with less dogs and more attention so that she can blossom and reach her full potential. She can get protective over toys and bones with other dogs but we think part of that will subside in a home with less dogs. She just wants more attention and love than she’s given. She’s crazy eager to please and has so much love to give.

This girl is such a beautiful girl inside and out. She loves people, is doing decent on a leash, but she is strong, it’s just her sincere and deep love of life and everything that every day has to offer!

If you’re interested in adding this, sun and fun loving, super star cuddling, party ready insanely fantastic girl PLEASE contact us asap!

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption fee which ranges based on age of the dog or cat. We also require a completed (and obviously accepted) adoption application, and home and reference checks. We don't do this to be nosey, but because when we bring an animal into our program we make a promise to that animal that they will go to the best home for them. We are more concerned with the quality of our adoptions than the quality
