Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a bonded pair and they’ll need to be adopted together. The owner is surrendering them because of personal health issues. They need to find a new furever home as soon as possible!
Meet Bentley (blue merle)! He is an 4 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 25 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots (except for rabies), but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Bentley hasn’t been tested around kids or cats. No dogs, due to his reactivity!
Ruby is an 9 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 27 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on shots (except for rabies), but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Ruby is good with dogs and younger children! She hasn’t been tested around older children or cats.
If you think you can provide a great home for Bentley and Ruby, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $300 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Bentley and Ruby.

More about this rescue
Nancy Gonzalez, founder and CEO, created Australian Shepherds Furever (ASF), a non-profit organization to promote the educated adoption and rescue of the Australian Shepherd (Aussie) dog breed.
In July of 2012, ASF initiated as a Facebook page hoping to have 1,000 user "likes" by the end one year. The page quickly outgrew expectations, now with a network of nearly 27,000 individuals striving to provide aid and refuge to Aussies all over the country.
Using the Facebook page as a platform, the website www.australianshepherdsfurever.org was developed as an additional resource aimed at educating the public on this intelligent and beautiful breed. It provides resources for those seeking help, or those willing to contribute to the Adopt, Save, Foster (ASF) philosophy. Through this philosophy, ASF has saved the lives of countless dogs and helped to provide assistance to those that have nowhere else to turn.
We as humans have a responsibility to speak up and take action in favor of those beings that are less fortunate. Thanks to a team of passionate and proactive volunteers, Aussies nationwide are given a chance at a better life through Australian Shepherds Furever.
